PAIN FOR GAIN

“Pain for Gain” now what might this be about, if you are thinking about exercise then “bingo”.

This article will not be testing your patience and telling you to partake in physical activities, that’s for you to decide. But, what this article will tell you, are some effects that exercise has on the human body and mind. Getting yourself to do physical activity is probably the most difficult thing in the world. Even if you somehow manage to get yourself to do some workout the next morning “boom” your whole body goes into chaos, as your entire body starts to ache?

But, what you don’t know are the changes that your body went through the entire routine from the beginning of your workout till the next morning that you wake up. Suppose you are doing yoga (that makes use of heavy-breathing) or jogging these are exercises that can have your heart rate go up like crazy. This, in turn, strengthens your heart muscle, makes the cardio-vascular muscles bigger and increases the blood flow through your entire body. On the other hand, the interesting fact about jogging is that the more your body weight, the more calories you burn. That is, a person weighing 180-pound (81 Kg) jogging at a mere speed of 6 miles/hour will burn through 408 calories in half-an-hour. Another, physical activity that you might be doing without even realizing it is “Cycling”- yes cycling it is an activity which can help in strengthening bones, reducing depression, and anxiety. Researches show that an hour of bike ride burns through 300 calories of a person. Swimming is also another exercise that develops the cardio-vascular muscles. The fact that might compel you to buy a set of water goggles and dive in a swimming pool can be the no. of calories burnt, a 180-pound person doing freestyle swimming for about an hour will burn through 817 calories. The last contender of this list, making an unexpected wild-card entry is walking. A normal walk for about 15 minutes can burn through 76 calories (that’s more than doing 50 push-ups will burn).

Your daily workout routine does not always have to be you picking-up and lifting heavy weights. It can be any physical activity jogging, yoga, cardio-exercise etc. As we all know “An Apple a day keeps the doctor Away” except here the "apple" is an exercise.
