Food is the backbone of nutrition

Food and nutrition are the basic necessities that any living being who respires needs. Whether it is a plant or an animal or any human being, we all require nutrition to stay healthy and fit. The major source of nutrition is food and hence, food and nutrition are deeply related to fitness. One can stay fit only by consuming proper diet and exercise. One of the major natural sources of nutrition is sun which provides vitamin D. Proper amount of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, starch and other nutrients are required for the well being of anybody. If we don’t give proper sunlight and water to plants then they will die as they will not get any nutrition which is required for their greenery plus growth and to generate chlorophyll and to undergo the process of photosynthesis. Animals take their nutrition from plants. Carnivores get it from other animals by eating their flesh. Among all, human is the kind of animal who requires most nutrition. Proper amount of salts in food fulfils the requirement of sodium in the body and milk provides calcium to bones which should be consumed in large amount from a young age only because as we grow up, the ability of our body and bones to absorb the calcium decreases and they become weak hence, there is a decrease in bone density. Other major sources of nutrition are eggs, meat and fish which are suitable for non-veg lovers. For vegetarians, pulses are a great source. According to researches, ten peanuts are said to be equal to one cashew so, for those who cannot afford expensive cashews can get the same nutrition from peanuts. A fit body leads to a healthy mind. For doing anything big in life, we need a good health to support our dreams and goals. Without health, there is no future. So guys don’t skip your morning diets as those are the most important part of your eating schedule. Follow a proper diet chart to keep both your mind as well as body healthy and fit.
