STRUGGLES OF A FLIGHT ATTENDANT

They never get enough sleep, they are always jet lagged : their shift never ends.once, they are here and in a blink of an eye they go there...like never ending shifts.though,they get 15-18 days off but those rest of the duty days give them a tough time. They cross several time zones in one shift.
No real life/social life : they don't really have that social life like others. Whether they are on the flight or somewhere resting in a hotel or spending some quality time alone in their house. This is it.
They are so selfless : there is no guarantee of their life. If a plane gets crashed or hijacked so you can imagine, no chances of survival. Everybody must've heard about Neerja bhanot, she is so selfless.. Sacrificed her own life for others. Such an inspiration :)
Healthy diet : they follow very healthy diet to be in a good shape and to keep their skin healthy. Not saying that it's bad but you know, we can eat anything we want to anytime..but they have to think for like zillion times.
Their feet hurts : they always need to look presentable. No matter how hard it gets at times. Their dress code,make-up and most importantly, heels. Such a pain!! They have to wear them whenever they are on duty. Can't take off them while on duty. And duty takes don't know how many hours. They have to clean the whole cabin and pull the food trolley wearing those heels. Pretty hard.
Always be nice : patience, pleasance and smile… these three are necessary for a flight attendant. Sometimes passengers gets violent and doesn't listen to them despite knowing the fact still they have to behave so properly. They always need to be so warm towards the passengers.

It's hard to be a flight attendant. If they look good ,do smile that doesn't mean you can irritate them. Try to be nice to them. It matters :)
